June Newsletter

June Newsletter:

Welcome everyone to another new month, my god 6 months in, anyway I just want to thank you all from post engagements, to your comments, to just liking my posts it means so much to me, and my business so thank you all from the bottom of my heart.  It is truly an amazing experience to be back with clients again, love the chit chats and the banter that goes on, I am truly blessed to have such fantastic clients, ye are all one in a million.  I am on live every Monday morning with an angel card reading which I do for the collective group of followers, so if this is of interest pop over on Monday morning normally between 9.00 and 10.00 on Facebook.

Me Time:

I am discovering with my clients and with friends as the country is starting to open back up again, kids are back on training mode, mums and dads are back on the road again, and some of them are feeling they are going back on the mouse track again back to prior to Covid.  If you are feeling this way it’s only natural but you can help yourself, so while the kids are at training maybe bring a book with you, so you get to have some time out for yourself.  Even listen to some of your favourite music, because when we are running on time constraints we are probably feeling a certain element of stress, so take the time to try and ease that stress.   If there’s a place you can go for a walk around the pitch take that opportunity, it doesn’t matter how long it is, it’s just important you make time for yourself and look after your own self care needs.

Family Time

This was something most of us enjoyed one of the many good things to come out of covid, so with routines picking back up we can slowly go back to times prior to Covid, so maybe make a plan to spend at least one day together as a family.  Whether it’s a walk together, a cycle, a day of sight seeing, or a day on the beach, it’s just nice to reconnect at least one a week with doing something all together.

Tips to get through this summer

1.       If your finding your head is absolutely buzzing just sit down every evening and write a list of things you need to get done.  Then beside each item write down what day your going to get them done.  So it enables you to focus and concentrate, and it clears headspace which is a lovely freeing feeling.

2.       Breathing: So if your finding yourself in a muddle and stressed out take some time to do some breathing, this can be done at your desk at work.  So breathing in through the nose hold for 2 seconds and release, and repeat again and this time hold for 3 seconds and release and build it up.

3.       Grounding: So try and get out into nature as much as you can, and when out in grass go barefoot get that beautiful connection to the ground beneath you, and while in that position just allow your eyes to close, and take a couple of deep breaths, an excellent technique I use quiet a bit when I feel stress coming on.

4.       Plan a few days holidays even just day trips just to get away, and see what Ireland has to offer.  It’s an incredible feeling when you step outside go somewhere you haven’t seen before the beauty that surrounds us here in Ireland.  Its something we take for granted, so this might be an ideal opportunity to go and explore it.

5.       When planning those days away, or time off work just leave your mobile behind just allow yourself to be present, and enjoy the experience.  We have unfortunately become too attached to our technology and too reliant on it.  Last Sunday we went away for the day, and like that I had my phone on me, but it was on silent, and I didn’t check on social media, or anything until later that evening it’s taking getting use to but once you get into the routine it becomes second nature then.

6.       Keep yourself hydrated drink as much water as you can because with the temperatures increasing we are perspiring a lot more so we need to up our water intake to replenish same.

7.       Sunblock to wear even on days when it can be cloudy too, so protect our skin.  If you do get sunburned, apply some Aloe Vera and some Lavender oil amazing combination for cooling down the skin.
